The privacy rules for searches, preferences and aggregate measurement.
Who operates this service
The operator and public contact address are shown at the top of this notice. Questions about personal information, access or deletion can be sent to that address.
No user accounts
The first release has no membership system, saved domains or email alerts. Theme preference is stored only in the visitor’s browser.
Search and click measurement
When aggregate measurement is enabled, we record event type, broad page context and counts so the catalog can improve. Raw IP addresses are not stored as product records, sold or used to create personal profiles.
Domain checks
The public comparison page sends a complete domain directly from the visitor’s browser to the registry service selected for that extension when the browser can reach it. A successful result is kept only in that browser tab for five minutes; if a repeat check fails, the tab may show the previous result for up to one hour with an older-result warning. TLDTab receives only aggregate result counts from this page, not the complete domain. The registry or registrar contacted for the lookup applies its own privacy and logging rules.
Local preferences
Theme, language and currency preferences may be stored in the browser. They can be removed through browser storage controls and are not needed to view the price tables.
External services
Opening a price source or visiting a registrar sends the visitor to an external site. That site receives the normal information sent by a web browser and applies its own privacy policy and terms.
Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare hosts the site, relays requests and provides security and aggregate measurement. Network information may therefore be processed in locations where Cloudflare operates. Registries and registrars receive only the requests needed when their services are contacted.
Security and retention
Aggregate event counts do not contain search terms, complete domains or raw IP addresses. Availability results held in the browser tab are discarded when the tab closes and are not reused after one hour. Operational logs are limited to what is needed to secure, diagnose and run the service and are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Access is restricted and secrets are kept outside public configuration.
Your choices and rights
Browser preferences can be cleared through browser controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Contact the operator shown above; identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
Changes
This notice may change when new features or measurement tools are introduced. The page date and wording will be updated before materially different collection begins.
